Up, Up, & Away

"Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!" ~ Psalm 118:24

We are all packed and ready to leave this morning on a big o' jet airliner! :) My thoughts are scattered in a million directions right now, and my heart is cloaked in a wardrobe of mixed emotions. Excited, Anxious, Happy, Sad, A Bundle of Energy, A Bundle of Nerves - lol! We would cherish your prayers for our journey, for George Mason, and for our children at home. They were having a hard time yesterday with me leaving for so long and my heart aches to have to leave them at all. 

We've hung up their love links so they can count down the days until Mommy, Daddy, and Curious George come home. :)  Each day, they will take down one link and open it up to see the little pictures they drew to remember what Mommy, Daddy, and George Mason will be doing that day. But what they don't know, is that Mommy & Daddy have a surprise gift for them to open each night before going to bed too! And we ordered a special pillow case with our family photo on it so they can take turns sleeping "next to" Mommy & Daddy. They all really liked that idea! I can't wait to hear about how they like their surprises!

 Of course the biggest surprise of all is waiting for us in China! And we put up a map and marked the cities we will be going to with stars for the kids to follow along - Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, then Home! Can't wait to see their faces when they meet their new brother for the very first time! I wonder what he will think of all of us? :) Can't wait to find out!

Because more than anything else, we can't wait to have our son HOME!
