Wait. Hope. Repeat.

After what seems like for. ev. er., we are so excited to almost have our paperwork for the dossier completed! YAY! We have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting, on the FBI to send back our clearances and after being unable to wait any longer, I called yesterday morning and was actually able to speak with a human. lol! She told me our prints had been processed and that we could expect our clearances to arrive no later than Saturday, December 11th.

That was GREAT news! But even GREATER news waited for me this morning on our voice mail! A call from Fed-Ex informing me that we have a delivery scheduled for TODAY! Awesome! This was the last missing piece to our home study, and once we have it, we can move forward in sending everything on to our agency. They will get everything authenticated and translated and also file our I-800a with the USCIS. We have to wait again for a USCIS fingerprint appointment. Those prints are taken digitally and then we wait, again, for our approval letter to come from the USCIS and that will be the last missing piece to our dossier - then it is ready to go to China. So still months of waiting ahead of us, but our part of the paperwork: the gathering, collecting, and filling out forms is completed. The next part is all in God's hands and in His perfect timing. There is nothing we can control in life anyway, so might as well enjoy the blessings of each day God gives us and pray expectantly for His will to be revealed.
